CSR at Energy Formation: A Daily Reality

Our concrete commitment to a sustainable and responsible future.
Sustainable development is “development that meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs.”

Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) represents a major commitment in transforming professional practices. This voluntary approach combines economic, social, and environmental performance in the service of sustainable development. In 2025, CSR stands out as a key strategic lever for addressing today’s societal challenges. At Energy Formation, our mission fully embraces this virtuous dynamic through concrete and measurable actions every day.

It promotes development that is economically efficient, socially equitable, and environmentally sustainable.

At Energy Formation, CSR covers multiple areas: environmental protection, employee and network safety, contribution to local development, workplace diversity, partnerships, supplier relations, and more.

Our Purpose

We support the professionalization and decarbonization of the gas sector while upholding a strong safety culture, by offering high-quality training powered by our technical expertise, pedagogy, and unique infrastructures in France.

Our commitment extends from initial training to lifelong skill development, with particular focus on the challenges of the energy transition and new green gas technologies.

Our programs, developed through an innovative educational model, enable gas industry stakeholders to strengthen their expertise in network integrity, gas risk management, and sustainable development.

Our CSR Commitments and Ambition

Our CSR commitments are naturally oriented toward decarbonizing our activities and those of our clients to help fight climate change. They are accompanied by a clear and genuine will to protect nature (biodiversity focus). The societal dimension is embedded through commitments centered on inclusion, ethics, the safety of people and property, and solidarity.

Concrete actions, both in the design of our training and in their delivery, help us reduce our carbon impact—particularly by limiting gas emissions during practical training exercises. Our CSR approach also extends to optimizing the energy efficiency of our facilities and continuously raising staff awareness of environmental issues.

Our training offer is also regularly updated to include more programs on biomethane, sustainable mobility, and, more broadly, green gases (link to our catalog brochure_energyformation_gazverts.pdf or directly to the training). These evolutions are part of a global energy transition strategy, with a particular focus on educational innovation and new green technologies.

We are also actively committed to protecting biodiversity on our training sites by implementing environmentally friendly practices and creating preserved natural areas. This holistic approach to CSR also includes a strong social dimension, with training programs adapted for people with disabilities and partnerships with local actors in professional integration.
